Calculator for creators
Creator commission earnings calculator
An example of what a commission deal could pay, from views to orders. An illustration, never a promise.
Example: 50,000 views with a 1.5 % click rate and a 3 % conversion rate give about 23 orders. At $45 per order and 15 % commission, that is $152. It is an illustration, not an estimate of anyone's income.
Change any input and the result updates. The formula is further down.
The formula
- Clicks = views × click rate
- Orders = clicks × conversion rate
- Earnings = orders × order value × commission rate
- Every input varies by product, audience and platform. The result is an example, not an estimate of your income.
Questions people ask
Is this what I will earn?
No. It is an example built from the numbers you enter. Real click and conversion rates vary a lot between videos, and attribution misses some sales.
What click rate is realistic?
It depends on the platform and the call to action. Ask the brand for the rates their past creators saw, and test with one video before you commit.
What should I ask for besides commission?
A base per video or per hour, a clear attribution window, visibility of the numbers, and the disclosure rules the brand expects you to follow.
Do I have to disclose a commission deal?
Yes. In the United States the FTC Endorsement Guides apply to commission the same way as to a flat fee.
