UGC hourly rate calculator: hours in, videos out, cost per video
Hours in, videos out, cost per video, and what the same volume would cost per video.
At $30 an hour, a 2-hour session costs $60 and ends in 4 videos: $15.00 a video. 4 sessions a month give 16 videos for $240; the same 16 videos at $100 each would cost $1,600.

The formula
- Cost per session = hourly rate × hours
- Cost per video = cost per session ÷ videos the session ends in
- Videos a month = videos per session × sessions
- Same volume per video = per-video price × videos a month
- On HourlyUGC, hourly means the brand books hours and each session ends in videos. Commission on sales or ad spend, or pay per 1,000 views, can be added on top in the same campaign.
Questions people ask
How many videos does a session end in?
It depends on the brief. Three styles with a hook pattern each can end in a dozen short takes; one scripted video with retakes may end in one. Enter the number your last session produced, or the number the brief asks for.
What hourly rate should I enter?
There is no public dataset of UGC hourly rates. Influee's 2025 rate guide puts hourly at $50 to $100 an hour and calls it less common. Public campaigns on HourlyUGC offered a median of $27.50 an hour across 11 campaigns at the last export. Enter the rate you would offer.
Is hourly cheaper than per video?
Only when the session ends in enough videos. Divide the session cost by the videos it produced and compare with the per-video price for the same files. Creative fatigue rewards volume, and volume rewards the cheaper unit.
Can I add commission on top of hourly?
Yes. On HourlyUGC a base (hourly or per video) can carry commission on sales or on ad spend, or pay per 1,000 views, in the same campaign.
